Is a money making website really necessary? With so many ways to make money on the Internet providing free websites it is enough to make a person wonder why they need to build one of their own.

I will briefly go over a few reasons why you either need to build your own money making website, or you need to hire somebody to do it for you.

1. Many business models such as affiliate marketing and network marketing give free websites to their members. All you have to do is step back and do the math to understand there are thousands of people all promoting the same website. Do you really think this is a good idea?

2. From a competitive standpoint having a website of your own makes sense! With billions of websites on the Internet it is very competitive.

This already gives you plenty to compete with, but if you’re using a replicated website you are also competing with other members just like you. You might as well limit your competition a little bit and stack the odds of succeeding more in your favor.

3. Making money on the Internet is as much about control as it is anything else. The sooner you begin to take control of your own success the faster you will become successful.

When you have your own website making money you control everything about it. You get to decide what programs and products to market, how you’re going to advertise them, the design of your website, and so on. Control is a good thing!

4. So the next natural question is how hard is it to build a website to make money with? The obvious answer is it comes down to how technical you want to be.

For example you can set up a blog fairly easily and have a fantastic looking website with very little effort. It definitely is true that today people are using their blog as their primary website.

5. Some people just do not have time and for that reason you should hire a freelance website builder. Or you may want to consider the blog concept and have them set up a blog for you.

Often times what a person does in their Internet business comes down to time or money. Having a money making website built for you is only half of the process.

What you have your website you need to start to advertise it can continue to add fresh content. Again you may want to turn to a freelance person to help you with some of these functions.
